Yeah, I saw this coming. & rightly so; coffee is the Drink You Buy. Alcohol is its own thing; you could have gone some sort of poetic Baudelairian musing on booze, but coffee is smart & recognizable. In my world it isn't Starbucks as default-- it is a forerunning but unmarked styrofoam & the "greek design" are still in the game-- but yeah.
