I just haven't heard it called that-- landline, home phone, but not wall phone. I had a corded phone, but then I had a bunch of corded business phones I had cleared out of an office space on an odd job I had done, & I would mess around with them, taking the face off, pulling the guts out, etc. Franken-fone!
