I think that photoshop was most definitely Danielewski's friend and I think without the structure of the ever-changing font, positioning of text and change of narrators, it could have been a very dull, nonsensical book indeed.

I would love to have something signed, but alas I am miles away and the mailing system here sucks. If you get to have a chat, I would love to understand his need to construct the story in that way, plus::: Would he ever consider constructing a metafictional DIGITAL eBook, (obviously as an app or online only text), thus making the expereince truly interactive?

Thank you for thinking of me re Danielewski. As for the absinth - ye Gods, I would clean my cutlery with that stuff!! Tough constitution, huh? As the likes of Edgar Allan Poe, Toulouse-Lautrec used to drink it, I suppose you are in good company (though I hear Van Gogh, Modigliani etc. probably didn't fare as well).
