I explored the abandoned one and on a price by price comparison I'd say - your better off breaking into an abandoned building.
New aquarium is pretty okay - but it is real crowded and too expensive. Give it a few months more to die out? Or rush there before everything dies - I have pictures and some video, but they're probably inscrutable. If you can get a coupon go. That's my ruling.
