Dude... You have not had the experience of living with your Egyptian Auntie - the one who loves to cook but is terrible at it. Who fries up fish in the apartment next door with all the windows open in January because... Well, Egyptian reasons - and ends up with some kind of hideous casserole of fish-heads and overcooked rice and... more fish-heads.
Ugh. You gotta be sweet though, and not get upset when it shows up on your doorstep.
