What it's come to
Oct. 15th, 2019 08:06 pmI've probably gotten a little bit daffy - I think - I think I don't know why exactly. Medicine? Good times?
But lying in wait for sleep I realized that life is a chemical manifestation of the universe's requirement for homeostasis & that living creatures throughout the universe would emerge as chemical agents meant to reverse entropy (eventually) and that in this respect we are the lymphatic system of the universe.
You know - probably. I've been on this task of creating religions lately & I feel like I owe it to myself at least to come up with a real & proper one. I can probably put the ideas behind "life exists to correct the decay of the universe" into the mouth of my avatar Soot - whose extant religious text is more nihilistic on its face but more benign in its intention. Which is to say - it's come to this: A situation where I make up religions & universes - which is not bad at all considering middle age's pressures. I'm probably not suited to actually having a religion as I don't wanna manipulate anyone's wife into having sex with me? But, well, you know - things come up. But religious concepts are fun to invent even if religions themselves would probably be pretty displeasing to create from whole cloth.
