kingtycoonI forgot to mention that come bedtime that kid of mine has been asking me to read her poems. I used to be able to write a decent poem, but no longer. I looked through what I have on the shelves - Tu Fu? too... inaccessible. Howl? Too... pornographic. Eliott - well she liked the Waste Land well enough - but it was over quick. So now I'm ending up with the Aeneid. That's what we're reading through come bedtime anymore. It' pretty much the best thing all week.
