It's exactly because they require special services that I'm getting rid of them. I can't blame RIM - they see everyone leaving, they know what's going on - so they make you pony up an extra charge every month and the server software maintenance fees - all so they'll have something when everyone stops using these things. As it is, my iPhone deployment is paying for itself.
If you just want a phone to pay month to month on or something one of these would be okay - but if you want the internet on your phone and so on - it's probably more price-worthy for you to just go get an iPhone - price/value wise.
I'll set a good-ish one aside if you really would like an outdated, barely useable phone though!
