I'm almost insensible to her ability - being curmudgeonly and forced more often than not to tidy up drawings rather than appreciate them. But then when I'm grumbling about markers and pages strewn around the living room others are mentioning how impressive it all is. So I wanted to help her share. I'm a little shocked at how little of social media and the Internet itself is available for children. I tried making four or five different accounts for her and all of them were denied her on account of age.
BECAUSE THE INTERNET IS FILLED WITH PEDOS EVERYWHERE!!!! THEY"RE OUT TO GET YOUR CHILDREN LOCK UP YOUR CHILDREN IN A BASEMENT SO NOBODY CAN GET THEM AND LOCK THEM IN THEIR BASEMENT!!!
(Yeah, I think from what I've seen most "social" sites for kids are more little simple like educational game sites? I know Sony had a free MMO (FreeRealms?) that was aimed at young kids, not sure if it's still around)
I think there's some "club penguin" or something like that that was around. I think most social sites have a 13 year old rule? Not sure if it's a law or what. I'm sure there's gotta be something for kids.
People are assholes on the internet anyways, maybe kids don't need to be exposed to this thing anyways. There's a better world out there than this tangle of wires can ever be.
