These motherfuckers want to drink all the coffee and then not make a new pot. These motherfuckers ought to get beat.

Anyhow, I guess it becomes, kind of my moment - since I once figured out how to make half-assed arabic coffee in the machine. So now, everyone gets to have that. Suffer you babies, you get the coffee I want to have - if you're too busy to make some after drinking it all! I am enraged.


I thought it'd be funny to roll the die every day as a fortunetelling thing - see how good or bad a day it'd be. But that's silly - it doesn't feel like a 7 - it feels like Friday. And I rarely have unenjoyable Fridays - now that I figured out how to bow out of the afternoon meeting/beating that is scheduled.

The secret is - there's always some shit breaking like crazy for no reason - so I am too busy to care about the Inside Sales team - which I am not even a part of! Ta-Da.

So it's not a 7 but unexpected failures all week have meant strange quantities of progress bars - more than most times. Tonight I'll take that little kid to dinner & have a great time. So that's gonna be nice. I don't have much else.

Oh man, what do I have- I have things. So I play this little game on my phone that's supposed to make me better at thinking - it gives me all above average scores- but it does this bit where it wants to make you talk & write like a person would do if they were writing textbooks and I get all points deducted for having idiomatic linguistic choices. In life, people are sometimes up on me saying: "Huh?" and I say... "well, I ride the bus." Because that's the accent I've picked up as native to me. CLV.

I thought about it again because out of fury I reloaded Ultima VII and have been amusing myself with it- video games are what you do when everything else seems like a demanding, difficult chore. I need to work less, I did a lot of things that are tangible, substantive & which were hard as hell. Give me a goddammed break, I deserve it. But in that game they have the overwrought Thee & Thou talking - so cute in the earlier games when you knew Garriot was just an SCA nerd - so weird when you see the older games & wonder - was he just painted into a corner or is this SCA orthodoxy?

I wonder if I'll ever talk in a way where it's considered real old-timey. Sometimes, I've heard, more than once, so sometimes - that I talk like a man in a movie. I like that.

I dreamt last night I was rolling hit points for a new character. Dungeons & Dragons is the sort of thing that gets into one's system and never leaves I guess.
