I guess going a year without any kind of romantic instance at all is a first.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Not really but I resolve some pretty ambitious nonsense. DunJanuary is coming again... for example
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Well, their wives did.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My old pop.
5. What countries did you visit?
That's no good for me, travel. Not for me.
6. What would you like to have in 2020 that you lacked in 2019?
A tall bag of money? Nah - motivation. Julie mentioned that I'm the least motivated of all the people she knows. I believe it.
7. What date from 2019 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
This christmas was pretty wonderful, overall. I'll probably remember it well.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Drive Thru RPG says I had 188 downloads - so I'll go with that. 188 times someone wanted to look at my book.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Despite all my efforts & concentration I couldn't force every car to fly into the sun.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No, I was really well for most of the year.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Probably one of A's presents - I'll ask her which she likes the most.

That kid of mine - she's wonderful & beloved

Everyone else? Mainly my coworkers.

The book of grudges lies still & undisturbed for another year.

Boy, I read probably 10 books last year - a poor showing. I'm thinking The Dark Forest.

What's that band we saw? It's funny - I took Agatha to see Angalisa's band & then her friends were there to see the headliners (not Angalisa's band) and they ended up staying out till real late & it was good. Lesbian Hardcore - I liked those kids, can't remember their names but it's funny taking your kid to their first hardcore show.

I remembered that last year I went dancing & it was okay & my friend Brandy was weird & coy about wanting to kiss me & I was all: "Listen, you can just make out with me if you feel like it and whatever, if you want to date a little that's cool too." I feel like I'm too old now for the youthful bashful, wishful stuff - but she loves television & popular music so emotions aren't real to her - in a way? I remembered that just now.
